This meatloaf was inspired by a Wendy’s commercial from the 70s. Bacon-wrapped meatloaf is a classic side dish, and this dish is different from any others as it has bacon wrapped around the meatloaf, making it taste more savory and flavorful.

Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf is a dish that features the delicious combination of bacon, meatloaf and carrots. Most of the bacon is placed on the outside of the meat loaf and the remaining bacon is placed into the middle of the meat loaf. The meat is then wrapped in bacon and then placed into a cast-iron skillet or baking dish.

When most people think of bacon wrapped meatloaf they think of meatloaf that is baked in the oven and then wrapped with bacon pieces. However, it turns out that you can create a bacon wrapped meatloaf by simply using meatloaf mix, adding your favorite ingredients, and then baking it in the oven.

Meatloaf has become one of my favorite go-to recipes for a quick and simple supper. It’s easy to put together and always filling. As a variation on my Classic Meatloaf recipe, I enjoyed preparing this Meatloaf with Bacon Wrapping. To create the ideal dinner, use this dish with most green veggies and carbohydrates.

pan (freeform or loaf)

Because it’s simpler to take the meatloaf from the pan and slice, I like to create a freeform meatloaf. I can also keep an eye on the meatloaf’s progress. Another benefit of a freeform meatloaf is that you’ll get more of that wonderful ketchup glaze! If you’re going to bake your meatloaf in a loaf pan, be sure to line it with parchment paper for easy removal and use leaner ground beef so it doesn’t cook in oil.

What kind of ground beef should I use?

You should use lean ground beef in any meatloaf recipe. In my cuisine, I like to utilize 93 percent lean or leaner cuts of meat. While using less lean ground beef improves the flavor, it results in a greasy and unappealing meatloaf. It will be more difficult for the meatloaf to keep its form and integrity if you use less lean ground beef.

Is it OK to eat pink meatloaf?

To be considered safe to eat, meatloaf must be cooked until it reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s still safe to eat if the interior is still pink. Bacon Due to the spices employed and other chemical reactions that occur while cooking, wrapped meatloaf may maintain a pink hue. If it doesn’t achieve the required internal temperature, you’ll have to keep cooking!
